A suspended front luggage rack, simple and elegant.

A wooden tray on a deformable parallelogram filters out road shocks. One knob sets the stiffness, two knurled nuts clamp it to most bicycles.

The principle

The tray rides on a deformable parallelogram that filters out road shocks. A single knob sets the stiffness to suit the load.

Two knurled nuts clamp it quickly to most bicycles.

Designed in CAD, 3D-printed, machined, then finished with woodworking techniques: few parts, one simple gesture, a restrained object.

Road test

Road test: the load stays steady despite shocks of varying amplitude.
